MOSCOW, RUSSIA – August 27-31, 2013, co-founder of Smart Rotor Systems, Kostyantyn Khomutov, as part of the Canadian delegation, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment has, for the 2nd time, attended and exhibited at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2013.
Hundreds of aircraft and high aerospace technologies were displayed at MAKS 2013, on the grounds of the town of aircraft science and technology – Zhukovsky, at the airfield of the major national testing facility – Gromov Flight Research Institute. During the event, visitors watched a unique flying program presented by Europeans, Americans, Russians and Chinese aerobatic teams. MAKS 2013 had more that 350 thousand visitors and thousands of technical exhibits gathered in pavilions.
Kostyantyn has successfully exhibited Smart Rotor Systems’ innovative technology capable of reducing Noise and Vibration on helicopters simultaneously, and met with Chief Designers and Innovation Program Directors of leading Russian Helicopters’ companies Mil and Kamov. During the meetings, Kostyantyn secured their interest to collaborate on the implementation of the Active Pitch Link onto Russian helicopters and determined further steps required in order to establish collaboration with Russian Helicopters.
